Even if there is no motor vehicle insurance, there will be no case

There is no legal action taken against either the vehicle or its owner even though neither has insurance.

Police received a letter from the Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) demanding action on the matter.

According to BRTA officials, the 1973 Cars Act mandated third-party insurance. In contrast, the 2016 Road Transportation Act does not mandate insurance. You cannot file a complaint, regardless of whether you are covered or not.

2016's Road Transportation Act for Hallowmass 2019 was passed into law. Despite this, there is still a case against many people, because they lack transparent concepts.

Md. notified BRTA of the problem on September 22. Swadhin Khan's owner of a carrier might be the culprit. It was also requested on that day by Bangladesh Road Transport Owners Association.

Nur Mohammad Majumder, the head of the Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA), told bdnews24.com on Friday that many people did not grasp the concept of law for automobiles.

'The present legislation has to be clarified.' According to carriers, the existing legislation still applies in these circumstances. In a letter, we informed the police of this.

After receiving a letter from the BRTA President, the Police Officer was notified.

Automobiles were required to have third-party liability insurance under section 109 of the Motor Vehicle Ordinance of 1983. 155 of the Statute also applicable to this sentence. Paragraphs 1, 2, and 3 of the 2016 Road Transport Act make it clear that auto insurance is not required.

As a motorcar owner or organization may want, it is required to ensure the life and property of every vehicle possessed for the number of passengers specified for transport.

By paragraph 2, a motor vehicle's owner or the firm that operates the vehicle must ensure the motor vehicle and pay for insurance coverage in the event of a loss or damage.

Insurance companies are rewarded following this.

Specifically, the Financial Assistance Fund created under section 53 will be unable to seek compensation for a motor vehicle that has been involved in an accident, has been damaged, or is otherwise incapacitated.

Under this Act, there is no responsibility for third-party risk insurance violations, the letter said about the legislation.

If the automobile or motorcar owner does not have third-party liability insurance, he or she cannot be sued under the Road Transport Act 2018.

According to the letter, suitable measures should be taken to inform individuals affected.

It is estimated that by August 2020, 45 lakh 23 thousand 600 people would be residing in the nation.

Motorcycles make up roughly two-thirds of the total number of vehicles.
